The H2O iGO™ Cordless Steam Mop is the perfect way to join the award-winning H2O® family.
The H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop is designed to thoroughly clean indoor and outdoor floor surfaces, such as marble, glazed ceramic, carpet, stone, linoleum, and sealed hardwood floors and parquet. Not all floor types are suitable for steam cleaning. Do not use on leather, wax-polished furniture or floors, unsealed hardwood or parquet floors, unglazed ceramic floors and synthetic fabrics.
The heat and steam action may remove the wax on surfaces treated with wax. Do not use on unsealed flooring or let unit stand on any wood or heat sensitive floor for an extended period of time. This could cause the wood grain to rise, in addition to other types of damage. When using on vinyl, linoleum or any other. Test the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop on a small isolated area of your flooring prior to overall use on any floor surface.
Heat sensitive floors, use extra caution. Too much heat can melt glue in the flooring. Use only on laminated flooring that has been laid professionally and without any gaps or cracks that would permit the entry of moisture. Test the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop on a small isolated area of your flooring prior to overall use on any floor surface. Always check the use and care instructions of your flooring manufacturer or distributor before using the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop. When in doubt, please consult a flooring specialist. Only use the carpet glider on carpeting and rugs. Use of the carpet glider on other floor surfaces will case streaking and possibly scratching. This product emits steam and creates moisture. Water marks, discoloration or damage to the floor surface can occur if the unit is left operating too long in one place.
No. Outdoor use of the H2O iGO Hybrid Steam Mop is intended for cordless mode only.
There are 3 steam settings for cleaning: low, medium and high. You can change the level of steam output by turning the Steam Valve Dial depending on the cleaning job that needs to be done. The recommended uses for the 3 setting are as follows:
- Low Steam (LOW Marking on the Unit Body): Ideal for prolonged use on sensitive surfaces such as sealed hardwood/laminate, for which the Medium Steam setting can also be used.
- Medium Steam (MED Marking on the Unit Body): Ideal for light cleaning of granite, marble, tile and slate.
- High Steam (HIGH Marking on the Unit Body): Ideal for tougher stains on hard floors, carpets and door mats or whenever you need short steam blasts.
The power cord is 5m long (16.4 feet).
The H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop can produce a super hot steam that's upwards of 110°C (230°F). This makes it effective for cleaning and sanitizing all over your home. However, it should be operated with care and by adults only over the age of 18.
Place the Microfibre Mop Cloth on the bottom of the Mop Head and make sure all the loops on the cloth are aligned with the gripping hooks on the bottom of the Mop Head (refer to illustration in the User's Guide). Then press the Cloth against the Mop Head so that the loops on the Cloth catch the gripping strips on the Mop Head and hold the pieces together.
When using the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop on carpet surfaces, place the Mop Head, with Microfibre Cloth attached, on top of the carpet glider (see illustration in the User's Guide). Do not attempt to use the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop on carpet/rug surfaces without the carpet glider in place.
Check the following 4 points:
- Is the unit plugged into an operational electrical outlet? And check that the other end of the Power Cord is properly connected to the unit body.
- Is the Power Switch (O/I) is turned on? It should be switched to the “ON” position (I).
- Is the Water Tank empty? Check the water level indicator.
- Is the Safety Lid fully closed? It should be fully closed. It takes approximately 9.5 clockwise turns for it to be fully closed.
If none of these solutions solve the problem, immediately turn the Power Switch (O/I) to the “OFF” position and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. This unit is not functional or safe for use and should be discarded. In addition to this, please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide in the User's Guide.

Once the pressure is built up and the green light is tuned on, just remove the Power Cord from the unit and steam cordlessly until all the built-up steam is depleted and the Indictor Light turns red, meaning it is time to recharge. For more detailed instructions on how to operate the unit in cordless mode, please refer to the User's Guide.
No. The unit is “recharged” by being plugged into a power outlet until enough pressure is built up to be able to remove the Power Cord and continue steaming.
When the steam gets depleted during cordless use and you want to continue cleaning simply turn the Steam Valve Dial back to “OFF” setting, attach the Power Cord to the unit and plug the Power Cord into an outlet. Make sure the Power Switch (I/O) is flipped to the “ON” (I) position, the Indicator Light will be red if it is. Then wait for the pressure to get built back up again.
The Indicator Light will turn green when enough pressure has been built for the next steam cycle. Next, unplug the Power Cord from the outlet and remove it from the unit and you can start your next cordless steam cycle. For details on how the Quick Recharge feature works for cordless mode, please refer to the User's Guide.
Corded Mode: Up to 80 minutes.
Cordless Mode: It varies with each cycle. The unit can have 3 steam cycles in cordless mode until it uses up all the water in the water tank. Meaning, it would need to be recharged twice. Each steam cycle can range from 6 to 10 minutes of steam time. Each recharge cycle is up to 3 minutes.
Up to 3 minutes.
After initial charge you can have up to 2 more recharge cycles.
To avoid puddling of water, the Microfibre Mop Cloth must be clean and dry for use. To replace Microfibre Mop Cloth, proceed as follows: Let it cool down, remove it from the Mope Head, replace with a new Microfibre Mop Cloth and continue use. Select Low steam setting for minimal steam.
The superheated steam loosens the dirt. It is then picked up by the Microfibre Mop Cloth and wiped away from the surface. The Microfibre Mop Cloth are machine washable and reusable.
The H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop does not require frequent maintenance cleaning with descaling solution in order to prevent limescale blockage. Therefore, it is enough to use regular water to clean the unit after use. It is possible to have some limescale form in the Water Tank, especially in areas with hard water. In that case, the following instructions need to be followed:
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar to a full Water Tank, close the Water Tank Safety Lid (all the way) and shake the contents. DO NOT TURN THE STEAMER ON.
- Let the unit sit for a few hours, then empty the Water Tank and rinse with clean water until it rinses clear.
This process can be done once after every 25 uses of the full Water Tank or as often as once a month in areas with hard water.
Microfibre Mop Cloth care:
- Machine wash 60°C (140°F)
- Do not use bleach
- Do not use softener
No, your H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop does not operate with a filter system so it does not require any replacement/maintenance of filters. Do not immerse the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop in water.
Unplug the Power Cord from the outlet. Allow the Microfibre Mop Cloth to cool down, then carefully remove it from Mop Head, as it could still be hot. Any water remaining in the Water Tank should be emptied prior to appliance storage. Always empty the Water Tank at the end of each use. Let any water (that may remain as a product of condensation) drain from the steam opening prior to storing the appliance. Wrap the Power Cord around hook on the Curved Handle. Wipe all surfaces of the H2O iGO™ Hybrid Steam Mop with a soft cloth. Store in a protected, dry area. Please store the unit in a cool and dry place when not in use. Do not leave it exposed to sunlight or rain.
